Michael Bisping reacts to his former UFC title rival, Luke Rockhold, suffering a devastating knockout defeat at Misfits 22.
The former UFC middleweight champion, Rockhold, fought and lost his first-ever boxing bout in the third round after fellow ex-MMA star Darren Till scored an insane knockout.
Till called out Carl Froch, the former super middleweight champion, after the fight, as his American foe was treated for damage caused during the heavy barrage.
A packed-out crowd at the AO Arena in Manchester watched a night of entertaining crossover boxing action as Bisping himself watched his former rival suffer at the hands of 'The Gorilla' on pay-per-view.
The pair had faced off twice previously in the Octagon, with the first encounter where 'The Count' was submitted by Rockhold in the second round, allowing the Californian to retain his title.
But in a shock turn of events, Bisping got his revenge in their rematch when he knocked out his bitter foe in the first round to become the first British fighter to pick up a world title in the organisation.
On his YouTube channel, the 46-year-old provided his thoughts on the performance of his old opponent.
He said: "Darren Till got the job done. I did predict that because Luke Rockhold, he just has his chin up in the air and all his best weapons are taken away from him in a boxing match.
"He's got great grappling. He's got great kicks. He's got decent hands, but Darren Till's a really, really good puncher."
The Londoner also believes that a bout against Froch would be the ideal fight next for the 32-year-old Scouser if the opportunity presents itself.
But after seeing the effects of the knockout, Britain's own did send a heartfelt message to Rockhold.
"I hope Rockhold is fine. I hope he makes a full recovery, and I didn't enjoy seeing that. I truly didn't. He's not a bad guy. We don't have a problem. We don't have beef anymore.
"So, I really genuinely hope he's going to be okay. And he is going to be okay, but he needs to take some time away."
It was the 40-year-old's debut in the crossover boxing space, but after a long MMA career and one loss in the bare-knuckle professional scene, it may be time for him to finish his combat sports career.
The Liverpool fighter now looks set to continue his career in boxing, but he has become a free agent with his win on Saturday, the last fight of his Misfits contract.
Even with a callout of 'The Cobra', his performances have impressed Bisping enough to suggest a Jake Paul clash.
However, he believes Paul would not consider the bout for one reason.
Bisping said: "There's a potential Jake Paul. That won't happen because he would smoke Jake Paul. He would destroy Jake Paul."
'The Problem Child' is scheduled to face Gervonta 'Tank' Davis in a controversial exhibition fight following his win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in July.
Although if Till continues to make headway in the influencer scene, he could easily boost his profile enough to call out the former YouTuber.
